Shipping and Returns

Most orders are despatched from stock within 24 to 48 hours (Monday to Friday) using first-class post (UK) or Airmail (International). From time to time, however, delays in despatch can occur, and we don't send out any parcels on Saturdays or Sundays. Where possible, if we are out of stock of any items we will supply part orders and hold balances of orders until new stocks arrive - if you have particular requirements regarding delivery times, please let us know and we will advise our expected despatch date and can discuss priority delivery services. You may cancel any undelivered orders at any time by telephone or email if you prefer not to wait.

UK Shipping

UK Shipping is charged at just £3.50 per order with FREE shipping on orders over £40.00

Dolls houses and other heavy items are shipped free of charge to UK mainland addresses but customers in Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands should contact us for a shipping quote before placing an order.

If your goods are required urgently we recommend upgrading to Special Delivery at an additional cost of £4.95. Any order placed before 12noon will be shipped on a next day delivery service (subject to stock availability). To purchase Special Delivery please enter code SD24 in the Search box and add it to your cart before checking out

Please note that delivery instructions added to your order cannot be acted upon. Our carriers, and their agents where applicable, will not guarantee to meet specific instructions and we are unable to pass them on. If you are unable to accept deliveries for any reason, we suggest that you place your order with a delivery address where it can be accepted. If any parcel is returned to us because of failure to deliver (except where the fault is clearly ours or the carriers), we will make a charge equal to the cost of postage plus VAT which will need to be paid before re-sending it.

Please be aware that unless you discuss and accept a priority delivery service, we are unable to guarantee delivery times. In addition, we are unable to investigate delayed deliveries for 21 days (UK) though in many cases delayed items are actually at local sorting offices so you should check at your local office if your order hasn't arrived within 7 days. Please note that at busy times (particularly near Christmas), deliveries can take longer than usual, so please order in plenty of time.

International Shipping

We now offer FREE shipping to the USA on orders over 50USD and to Australia on orders over 50AUD. This offer applies to parcels up to 2kgs and excludes all houses and buildings.

Other International orders up to 2kgs in weight cost £5.95, but larger or heavier orders are subject to individual shipping quotations - please email us at info@minimumworld.com to check before ordering. Please note that dolls houses, basements, conservatories, plasterware, varnishes, stains and paints may not be available to non-UK customers except when carried by specialist carriers or when packed in extra packaging. We will not generally supply these products Internationally except by special arrangement and subject to extra charges.

Non-EU orders may be subject to customs and duties (taxes) which are payable, by you, upon receipt of the order. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, nor are we able to estimate what they would be as they vary from country to country. You may want to check with your local Customs Department for more information or for an estimate of these charges.

Returns

Unwanted items may be returned for a refund within 28 days of receipt, subject to the following terms and conditions:

- Returns must be made within 28 days.

- Goods must be in their original packaging, undamaged and in an unused condition.

- Goods must be returned at customer's expense.

- Refunds do not include P&P. Fulfilment costs will also be deducted from the refund if a special discount or free P&P was applied to the order.

- We reserve the right not to refund any items received back in a non-resaleable condition. Such items may be returned at the customer's expense if requested.

- Goods ordered for resale or business use, but subsequently returned will be refunded less a 20% handling charge (minimum £10).

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please note that UK and EU customers may exercise their rights under the UK Distance Selling Regulations to return any order for a full refund including any P&P originally charged if the entire order is returned within 7 days of receipt. Please note that return postage is still the customer's responsibility.

In the event of a faulty item, please contact us before returning as different return conditions may apply. Please ensure all packaging is retained as this may need to be examined by the courier.
